In a dry evaporator, the liquid secondary refrigerant flows from outside the tube. In order to increase the flow rate of the secondary refrigerant, multiple baffle rods are installed on the tube bundles in the cylinder block.
Removable Easy To Clean
You can take tube bundle out of shell, it can be easily cleaned.
The spiral baffle makes the shell side fluid flow in a continuous spiral shape.
The advantages of a dry shell and tube evaporator include:
① less liquid filling, approximately 40% of the tube volume.
② Less affected by the static pressure of the refrigerant liquid.
③ Convenient oil drainage.
④ The refrigerant will not expand and crack the pipe when it freezes.
⑤ The refrigerant level is easy to control.
⑥ Compact structure.
